For 46 years, Bal Swan Children’s Center has been one of the hallmarks of the City and County of Broomfield. More than 7,500 children and their families have benefited from the professional staff and outstanding services offered at Bal Swan Children’s Center. At Bal Swan, children with special needs play and learn alongside their typical peers. This unique learning environment has been created with the support of corporate leaders and local businesses that believe in the importance of early childhood education for all children. We would like to invite you to partner with Bal Swan on its largest fundraising event, the Bal Swan Ball.

The Bal Swan Ball is Broomfield’s longest standing Black Tie event. This year’s Bal Swan Ball will be presented by Spectrum Land Company, LLC. The Ball will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at the OMNI Interlocken Resort in Broomfield. Celebrating its 45^th year, the event will provide an evening of dinner and dancing to over 550 attendees and will include live and silent auctions and light-hearted gambling. The audience will include community and corporate leaders, elected officials and key Broomfield residents. The advertising for this event will begin in September and will include print media and direct mail. As a sponsor, your company would benefit from local media exposure, a dedicated target audience, and association with one of our country’s most important causes and one of our community’s greatest assets.

By sponsoring the Bal Swan Ball, your company will be supporting a leader in early childhood education. For the third consecutive year Bal Swan is the only preschool in Broomfield to have a four star Qualistar rating. We serve more than 400 students annually, a third of which have physical and developmental challenges or speech/language delays. In addition to offering educational services, we also offer students physical, speech, occupational therapy, and warm-water pool therapy all of which are offered on-site. Bal Swan is committed to making quality education available to all families, so our families only pay 68% of the actual cost of the services we provide. The remaining portion of our budget is generated from sponsorships, events, grants and private donors.

The Bal Swan Ball is more than a wonderful night of entertainment, more than a gathering of community leaders, more than the most well established Black Tie event in Broomfield, it is an opportunity to help change the lives of children.
